Resolve Conflicts; Heal Wounds
|
| If it is possible, as far as it depends on
you, live at peace with everyone. — Romans 12:18 |
| CONFLICT HAPPENS! It is natural that everyone experiences disagreements and conflicts. These disagreements arise for a variety of reasons and vary widely in difficulty of resolution. At the same time, God wants us to live in peace and to be peacemakers. When we make peace we delight our Lord (and ourselves). When we neglect peacemaking we grieve God. |
- Do you have,
or know of, a relationship that is broken and needs reconciliation?
|
- Perhaps even
now you are at odds with someone else and can’t figure out
how to get over the dispute.
|
- Perhaps your
estrangement has gone on for a long time and it continues to bother
you.
|
| Among the many intriguing questions that will
be discussed are the following: |
- If you've had a long-standing grievance that
still bothers you, how do you get over it?
|
- What do you
do if the person who hurt you shows no remorse or repentance?
|
- Are there some relationships so broken they can’t
be fixed?
