Kids World Service Opportunities

| Many of you have asked how you can help and we appreciate your
willingness to partner with us. Here are some opportunities waiting
for your help: |
Sunday Morning Ministry
|
9:00 am or 10:30 am - Kids World Teachers
Coordinate and support classroom assistants for one
age-specific room; requires a weekly commitment through
the end of June. |
9:00 am or 10:30 am - Kids World Classroom
Assistants
Supervise and participate with children in creative
worship time & in an age-specific classroom; we are
seeking a commitment of a minimum of two Sundays per
month to greater benefit our young children. |
9:00 am - Kids Town Leader for KidMo Program
Supervise and participate with children and teenage
leaders in KidMo (our Sunday morning program). KidMo
includes a large group meeting with small groups led by
our teenage staff. |
10:30 am - Big Group Team Supporter Sound Crew
Manage sound levels of microphones, cue and play
music, manage slides of lyrics during large group time. |
9:00 am or 10:30 am -
Kids World Bridge Builders (Special Needs Buddies)
Pair with a child with special needs to help him/her
really connect with and benefit from our programs;
please commit to no less than two consecutive Sundays
per month for the sake of these children. |

Mid-week Curriculum and Administrative Support Ministry
|
| Nametag Wrangler
Maintain and replace nametags/badges as needed for
children and team members. |
Administrative Support
Several Options: Help produce and mail a bimonthly
newsletter pertaining to Kids World; help create
bulletin boards; help create room-specific material that
can be temporarily displayed and easily removed to
storage. |
Playground Clean-up Crew
Each Sunday we need to sweep up the playground and
stow the sand toys for a fresh start each Monday morning
for our Village Preschool students. |
Photographers
Produce photos (digital and prints) for
incorporation on our website, bulletin boards,
newsletters, PR publications and Church bulletins. |
Greeting Card Person
Create cards (Birthday, Missed You, Get Well Soon,
Welcome) and prepare them for mailing. |

Activities/Special Events Ministry
|
Jam 45
Assist in coordinating fun nights for our fourth and
fifth graders on 9/29; 11/3; 1/26/07 and 3/9/07
including food preparation and parental chaperones. |
Fun Nights/Special Events
For children and/or families, plan occasional social
events like movie nights, skating parties, broomball,
etc. If it's fun, they will come! Other events include
Parent/Child events such as our Father/Daughter Dance
and Mother/Daughter Tea. |
Appreciation Expressions
Help us let our children and families know they're
loved; help us let our team members know how valued and
loved they are. |
Prayer Team
Pray for Children's Ministry independently and as a
group during scheduled times. |
