Baptism

| Choosing to be baptized, or to have your child baptized or
dedicated, is a meaningful expression of one's faith. Saratoga
Federated Church wants to encourage you and support your
spiritual growth through this spiritual discipline. |
| On a regular basis SFC offers adult baptisms, and
infant dedications or baptisms. In general infant baptisms and
dedications are conducted as part of a Sunday morning worship
service while adult baptisms are a separate event. |
| SFC also offers classes to individuals interested
in being baptized, and parents interested in having their
infants dedicated or baptized. The class provides attendees an
opportunity to understand the church's theology concerning
baptism covering topics such as:

- Why is baptism important?
|
- What is the difference between infant baptism and
infant dedication?

- How do I prepare for baptism?
|
- What can I expect at the baptism service?
