Worship & Celebration Ministry |
"It is good to praise the
Lord and make music to Your name, O Most High."
-
Psalm 92:1 |
 |
Celebration Choir |
|
This non-auditioned group helps lead worship
in our 10:30 service every Sunday. The requirements are a
love of music, a heart for worship and the love of community
with other worshippers. Rehearsals are on Wednesday nights,
from 7-8:30pm, from September to May. |
|
 |
Worship Teams |
|
These teams lead worship at our 9:00am service
every week. They are comprised of a rhythm section and vocalists.
Rehearsals are every Sunday morning at 8am, and occasionally
on Saturdays. |
|
 |
Expressions of Worship |
|
This group leads worship through newer musical
expressions on a semi-regular basis; to compel and be examples
of corporate worship; to prepare music that celebrates and
deepens intimacy in worship. Rehearsal times are flexible
as this group continues to take shape. |

Kids Choir |
|
Under the direction of Stacey Lewis, the
Kids Choir will be growing in some new directions this year.
Stacy is a music educator by profession, and brings that
passion and expertise into the mix. The Kids Choir will be
learning music fundamentals as they learn songs to worship
Jesus. They are currently working on a musical called "Under
God's Sea in 3D," which they will present on Mother's Day,
May 9th! Kids Choir welcomes kids from K-5. A new time (Thursdays,
from 5:30-6:30pm) and place (Music Room) have
intentionally been chosen to accommodate families and their
varied schedules and activities. Put KIDS CHOIR on your calendar
this fall. It will be music to your ears! |

Celebration Orchestra |
|
This group, open to intermediate to advanced
players of all orchestral instruments, helps to lead worship
every Sunday in our 10:30 service. Rehearsals are every other
Wednesday evening from 7:45-8:45, September to May. |
|
 |
Handbells |
|
This group provides special music in worship
services every 4-6 weeks. It is open to people who can read
music. You do not need to have played handbells before, simply
a dedication to rehearsal and a willingness to learn. We
rehearse on Sunday mornings from 9-9:45. |
