| We are so grateful to our Lord for
blessing our Student Ministry program, here at Saratoga Federated
Church. In order to help our program run smoothly, we need your
partnership. We are asking that EVERY parent sign up to help in some
aspect of our program. Therefore, please take time to pray and ask
God how you can be involved. At the Parent Meeting today, we will be
asking for your help! Please stop by the sign-up table in the back
of the room. |
New Ministry: "Bridge Builders"
We have a new ministry that warmly welcomes children and teenagers
with special needs into our programs. We are offering a "Day of
Respite" to Christmas shop on December 9, 2007 from 9:00 am to
12:30 pm. Please contact Tim if you are able to help that day. |
2007 Mexico Outreach Fundraisers
- "Silent Auction" Fundraiser, Sunday, January 28,
2007. We need volunteers to get donations, event planners,
decorators, coordinators, and set-up and take-down workers.

- "Night In Spain" Fundraiser, Sunday February 25,
2007. This will be a traditional Spanish dinner in Douglass
Hall, followed by a classical guitar and piano concert in our
historic Chapel. We need promoters, planners, decorations,
ticket and invitation people. Contact Melinda Chase.

Mexico AMOR Outreach 2007 - April 8-15, 2007
We always need team members to come along on our trip. Please
understand, this is a "working and not a spectator" trip.
We need workers before we leave town as well as help on our return
trip. We need "one-way" truck drivers, organizers,
shoppers, packers and help on our return trip with unpacking our
vehicles and returning our rental trucks to the agency.! |

"If we feed our students, they will come!" We
have been asking families for donations of any amount for either Jr.
or Sr. High Ministry Sunday goodies. Please drop a donation check
into the basket on this morning's TREAT table or if you prefer, send
a check in to Melinda's attention and she will credit and deposit
into your area of choice.

Confirmation Team
We need a Class Lunch Coordinator and Boys & Girls Small Group
Class Leaders. Confirmation is a wonderful opportunity to help
students understand what it means to have a personal relationship
with Jesus Christ. We are asking for a team of parents to help
students on their faith journey. You will grow from this experience.

We need 7th grade families to be on Michelle's team to plan,
decorate, prepare and serve this lunch. Our 7th Grade STUDENTS are
waiters for this event!!

We need 11th grade families to be on Jane's team to plan,
decorate, prepare, serve and clean-up this dinner. Our 11th Grade
STUDENTS are waiters for this event!!

Direct Ministry
We are ALWAYS in need of ADULT Program Helpers for Jr. & Sr.
High, both on Sunday mornings and Wednesday nights at church or as
Small Group leaders. Contact either Jason Roeder (high school) or
Matthew Bleckley (Jr. High) if you are able to help.

| We also need a list of current "willing"
activity drivers and/or chaperones. Contact Melinda Chase by email
with your car size/seat belts and availability. |
| On the first Friday of June, we need a host home for
our Student Ministry Adult Leadership "Thank You" Dinner
and also Summer Pool Party hosts, the end of June through
mid-August. Again, email Melinda. |
