Parking Team (Green Team) |
- This team helps people find close parking and
alleviate a bit of the stress on busy Sunday
mornings. They direct traffic, find parking spaces,
put umbrellas over heads and are the first contact
for visitors - and they get to wear 'the vests'.

Ushers |
- This team helps to facilitate all three services
by providing hospitality and leadership. They smile,
shake hands, direct people to seats, prepare the
sanctuary facility, pass out bulletins, collect
offering and serve communion.

Greeters |
- This This team lets people know that we're glad
they are here on Sunday. They greet and warmly
welcome members and visitors as they arrive on
Sunday mornings. Provide tours of the church campus.
Direct people to the Hospitality Center.

Hospitality Center |
- Our 'hub of information' is another great
opportunity to fellowship while distributing class
schedules, flyers, first-timer gifts, and just about
everything SFC to interested individuals. Volunteer
in the Hospitality Center on Sunday mornings,
helping people get the information they are seeking.

Courtyard Cafe |
- Help create a welcoming, casual environment on the
courtyard, where fellowship and friendship can
flourish. We provide coffee and light refreshments
for members and guests on Sunday. Take orders, set
up the coffee table and serve light refreshments and
drinks.

Altar Flower Team |
- This team creates a beautiful atmosphere for
worship in the sanctuary and chapel. Use your God
given gift of creativity to enhance the worship
experience for the congregation on Sundays and
special events.

Projection Team |
- This team provides technical support for worship
services and special events by operating the lyric
projection and pre-service announcement slide
projection in the sanctuary.

|
Communion Preparation |
- This team prepares the communion elements in
advance of Sunday or other special services. They
prepare weekly communion trays for the 8:00 am
service, prepare once a month communion trays for
the 9:00, 10:30 am and other special services.
Rotating team members allow for flexible scheduling.
This is a behind-the-scenes act of service that is
done on Friday or Saturday. Time involved is one to
two hours.

Pew Maintenance |
- This team keeps the pews stocked with supplies and
free of clutter. They refresh the various pew cards,
put out new Bibles, hymnals or pencils. Requires one
to two hours a week.
