| In times or stress or crisis in our lives we call on
God in prayer, or turn to Scripture, or seek comfort from other
Christians. Saratoga Federated Church offers several ministries that
help members and friends cope with the tough times. |

SFC gives active attention to those members whose quality of life is, in
some manner, at risk. Many things assault our joy: illness, or grief, worry
or conflict, addiction or unemployment, troubled children and parents,
financial and relational crisis. As often and as ably as we can, we serve
such needs.. |

Grief is one of the most profound experiences we encounter in
life. SFC helps those who grieve over death or divorce. |
Robin Hood Ministry
This ministry facilitates donations from SFC members to be delivered
to needy families through Our Lady of Guadalupe Church in the East
San Jose area and to some newly arrived families from Nepal. Items
of need include furniture, major appliances, small appliances,
linens, clothing, toys, games, sleeping bags, athletic equipment,
etc. All items should be clean and in good condition please. To
donate, call the SFC office at (408) 867-1000 and ask for Robin
Hood Ministry. |
