The Practices that Draw You Closer to God
Join us on the second Sunday of the month at 9:30am as we explore different practices designed to help us
experience the presence of God in new and deeper ways. These practices have been used for centuries by Christians
to grow closer to God, and to be transformed into the likeness of Christ.
Some of these practices, such as reading the Bible and praying, are very well-known to us,
while others, such as lectio divina or examen may be less familiar.
The class will meet monthly and there will be weekly reminders to experience the grace of that particular spiritual practice.
If your soul is thirsty, if life seems overwhelming, if you are searching for something deeper, come join us!

CBS is an interdenominational Bible study that welcomes people from all backgrounds and all levels of Bible knowledge.
We concentrate on the essentials of the Christian faith, not on denominational distinctives.
Our desire is to build unity in the midst of diversity thru the study of God's word and witness the transforming power of God's love.
Our class has discussion groups for men, women and couples.
The format of our study includes personal study in the Word, small-group discussion, class teaching,
expert commentaries and monthly small group socials.
For more information, contact our Class Administrator, Kay Harbal at firstname.lastname@example.org.
